Hi, my name is Randy, and I have been seeing Dr. Kaplan for approximately 12 years for issues with my lower back. Recently, I have had an issue with my sciatica with radiating pain in my lower back and left leg. After consulting with Dr. Kaplan, she decided to treat me with Shockwave Therapy. I have never heard of this but after 4 treatments all pain is gone. So then we talked about pain in my left knee having pain three years after surgery. Dr. Kaplan assured me that Shockwave Therapy could be used over hardware replacements, so I decided to try it. After four treatments, I went from pain in m y knee going up and down steps, to briskly going up and down stairs pain free. This treatment works and I would highly recommend it.
